Episode #38 with Sean Homenick

Sean Homenick is a board member and active user of Saskatoon Car Share Co-operative. Sean has not owned a car for eleven years, which is how he first became involved with the Co-operative. The Car Share’s mission is to provide member-focused, affordable, and convenient access to vehicles that support a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle. Members have access to a network of shared vehicles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, the Saskatoon Car Share Co-operative is the first car share in North America to be run by solar power vehicles.

Sean was born and raised in Saskatoon, and currently works as a manager at SARCAN recycling. SARCAN not only provides employment opportunities to individuals that experience barriers to employment, but also protects the environment at the same time.
