Episode #42 with Erin Akins

Erin Akins is a Sustainability Initiatives Coordinator at the University of Saskatchewan. She has been supporting sustainability efforts at the university for almost 7 years. She has coordinated efforts to reduce waste, water, energy consumptions in daily operations. Erin supports organizational sustainability strategy and reporting efforts. She also has a background in environmental policy and before joining USask she worked with Alberta Environment and the Meewasin Valley Authority.

Erin is currently the Chair of the Saskatoon Environmental Advisory Committee which provides strategic advice to city council on emerging sustainability topics.
