Episode #22 with Christie Nairn, University of Manitoba’s Office of Sustainability

Christie Nairn was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. Her family farmed in southwestern Saskatchewan during her childhood before she moved to Winnipeg, MB to go to school. Christie completed a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Winnipeg before pursuing her Master of Arts in Environmental Education and Communication from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC. Christie has experience working in the healthcare communications setting as well as environmental sustainability in the industry. Her passion for sustainability and education landed her the role of Director of Sustainability for the University of Manitoba. Currently, Christie is on maternity leave but will return to work in early 2022.
